"I think the reason why my English has improved is because of studying at King's. At first I couldn't understand or speak anything, but only in three months I was able to improve. It wasn't just because of the lesson's every day with experienced teachers, it was the activities and parties that also helped me learn English for everyday life. It was the fist time to learn English while having fun. There were tests everyday but the results were recorded and there was a lot feedback which was very useful. If you really want to improve your English I reccommend King's.

I came to New Zealand from China with the dream of becoming an internationally recognized Registered Nurse. The language requirements set out by the Nursing Council of New Zealand are not easy to meet and therefore I enrolled to study English for Nursing Registration at King's Education.
I started at King's in April 2008. It was a delightful experience for me and I enjoyed the class very much. I sat the Occupational English Test in July 2008. When I discovered I had achieved a B pass in all 4 skill areas I almost cried! All the hard work had paid off!
Thanks to King's Education my dream is coming true. I am currently waiting to begin my Competency Assessment Programme, once this is completed I can begin my nursing career.

I studied at King’s for five months. I am so happy that I chose to study at King’s.
At first I was nervous, but at school I made many different nationality friends. The teachers were kind and great at teaching. I felt ‘at home’. Every day studying at King’s was fun. One of the kiwi staff can speak Japanese so it helped me out a lot.
Coffee, tea and other drinks are free and there is free rice at lunch! Internet is also free. Every day there are free activities… there are a lot of fun things to do at King’s when you are not studying.
There are many different courses available too, General English, Care Giving, IELTS etc. It is easy to change into another course.
King’s helped me to make the most of every day while I was working towards my goals.
